In memory of... some departed and fondly remembered harbour personalities
These folks had a special connection to our harbour, through their volunteerism and lifetimes of use, we pay tribute to them and recognize their significance in our history.

Bill Stefiuk had a long career as a commercial fisherman and with many vessels called French Creek home and still had time to volunteer as a director on the board, contributing his experience, talents and enthusiasm, to benefit our harbour.

Norm Johnson was a lifelong commercial fisherman, and a founding member of the Harbour Authority of French Creek board. He and his boat the Pacific Girl called French Creek home for over 20 years.

Pat Forbes was a founding member of the Harbour Authority of French Creek board and volunteered her time as a director until 2013, as the matriarch of a long time Lasqueti Island fishing family, her legacy of community spirit lives on with those who were inspired by her.
